The dedicated professionals working hard to achieve the mission of Cascades East AHEC
Debbie Cole, Manager
K-12 Education Coordinator
A native of Southern California, Debbie left the “OC” in 1968 to attend UC Berkeley. After 30 years in the Bay Area, she moved to Truckee, CA in 1998. Debbie tried out several career paths before finding the perfect fit in teaching. Until her move to Bend, OR in July, 2011, she was happily teaching middle school in Incline Village, NV. The CEAHEC Education Coordinator position is a great fit for her background in curriculum development as well as experience teaching at a variety of grade levels.
As a loyal alumna of UC Berkeley, Debbie has served the university in a variety of ways since graduating in 1972. Highlights include serving as president of the California Alumni Association and a two year term as Regent for the University of California.
In addition to her undergraduate degree, Debbie received her teaching credential from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA in 1994 and her Master’s in Educational Psychology from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT in 2006.
