Undergraduate Medical Education

St. Charles Health System serves as an official clinical training site for allopathic medical students from OHSU, osteopathic medical students from Western University Health Sciences’ COMP-NW campus in Lebanon, OR, and AHEC Scholars. Please contact your school’s placement coordinator for more information.

Visiting Student Rotations

We are currently taking requests for visiting MD, DO, PA & NP clinical hours.

St. Charles must have a current Affiliation Agreement in place with the school for a student to pursue clinical hours at any of our facilities.

We give priority to St. Charles currently employed caregivers, caregivers on an educational leave and AHEC scholars.

St. Charles Student Services serves as the main coordination hub for all clinical rotations. For more information please email Bill Hartrich: wahartrich@stcharleshealthcare.org

Clinical Rotation coordinators for Pharmacy, Nursing and Allied Health may contact the St. Charles Clinical Practice and Professional Development Department (CPPD) by calling 541-382-4321 or emailing: clinicalpracticeteam@stcharleshealthcare.org

Medical school, NP, and PA clinical rotation coordinators (not students) are required to submit rescheduling requests through MyClinicalExchange.com. Visiting students or the schools in which they are enrolled are responsible for covering the cost of account registration.
